After a record-breaking Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a triumphant, sold out showing of ‘A Tribute to the Blues Brothers – Live’ at the Lowry Theatre in September, and a fifth birthday party to remember for the next five years, Hartshorn – Hook Productions has entered a new phase of its life.
Louis has taken up a post as Commercial Director at the Arts Theatre, right in the heart of the West End and Brian has taken over daily operations at H+H. This new era is brimming with creative possibilities and challenges that the two producers are excited about embracing head-on. They remain as tight a team as ever before, the main differences being a rising phone bill, someone finally forcing Louis to learn how to use Skype and Virgin dropping its legal challenge for the West Coast main line service.
H+H is producing more exciting theatre than ever before, and its close relationship and love affair with the Arts theatre has manifested itself into something truly symbiotic.
The lads are close to announcing their first UK tour, and the prospect of producing a major West End musical and looms ever larger for H+H, so expect more news very soon.
